Alexa Steinbrück

As a true creative technologist, Alexa bridges the worlds of software development and art and design. Her interest in AI started in 2008 while programming interactive art installations, this made her finish a degree in AI. She was head of AI at the first lab for AI & robotics at a German art and design university. She has realised award-winning digital projects with the United Nations, BBC R&D, Mozilla, Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge, Privacy International, Zeit Online, Ars Electronica, Nicolas Jaar, and many more.

Amelie is a designer working at the intersection of arts, tech and science. Committed to educating in different contexts and age groups, she was a long-term member of the Experimental Design Methods staff at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, is on the road as a tutor for creative technologies with the Fabmobil and currently runs a Makers Lab dedicated to empowering girls and young women.

With over a decade of experience in crafting application for the web, Daria has built both small websites and large web applications using a variety of tools and frameworks. Katharina Trentau

After graduating in Animation from the Film University Babelsberg, the Berlin native gained valuable experience in the advertisement industry, including at the design studio zeitguised. Then she completed a degree in Mechatronics, followed by a Master’s in Process Informatics. Today, she combines her unique blend of creative background and technical expertise as a specialized developer for cloud infrastructures.

Lena Hegger

Lena Hegger is a graphic and UI/UX designer. Conceiving and realizing comprehensive corporate designs, publications, and websites, her approach is characterized by creative research and conceptual thinking. Most recently she developed the digital literature platform Gesammeltewoerter as part of BuchBasel, together with Katharina Nejdl and Chris Möller.
